Statistics show that in half of all accidents drivers do not apply enough force on the brake pedal when they are trying to avoid a crash- they may think they’re breaking hard, but it’s only a portion of the total braking available.

Emergency braking represents an aid for effective braking in critical situations. Divers often have the wrong perception of the braking distance of the vehicle at a given speed and distraction of the driver in a fraction of a second can easily make an accident unavoidable if the vehicle in front suddenly brakes or stops.
