Car Manufacturers start using ESC promotional logo |
Car manufacturers in Europe have started to use the "ESC ON BOARD" logo developed by the eSafetyAware! platform. The logo can be used in all marketing material, advertisements, articles and information material made available in print (magazines, newspapers), on the internet, via television, press releases and any other consumer-directed marketing communication. It can be used by OEMs with ESC as standard in the full model range from entry range to top motorisation/ trim level and only for countries where this apply.
The logo cannot be displayed in relation to the safety of other products or safety features than Electronic Stability Control systems. A version with "ESP ON BOARD" has been approved by eSafetyAware! for promotion in countries where Electronic Stability Control is mainly known to consumers as ESP but the goal of the ChooseESC campaign is to have only the "ESC ON BOARD" in the future.
Following Euro NCAP's recent decision to award only 5-stars to new cars with ESC on board, it is expected that more and more car manufacturers will use the logo in their marketing.
